Austin ISD will again participate in the Austin Area Heritage Council 27th Annual MLK March, Rally and Cultural Festival on Monday, Jan. 20, which will commemorate and celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
The march will begin at 9 am in front of the MLK statue at the University of Texas near 21st and Speedway. There will be a short program and announcements at the statue before continuing to the south steps of the Texas State Capitol. From there, the march will continue to Huston-Tillotson University, where it will end and activities are planned until 3 pm.
Historically, 海角社区 students and staff attend the march every year. 海角社区 encourages its students, faculty, and staff to attend the march to raise awareness and to support our students, families, and staff who are participating.

El Austin ISD participar谩 de nuevo en la 27.a Marcha Anual, Mitin y Festival Cultural de MLK del Consejo Patrimonial del 脕rea de Austin el lunes, 20 de enero, que conmemorar谩 y celebrar谩 la vida y legado del Martin Luther King Jr.
La marcha comenzar谩 a las 9 a.m. frente a la estatua de MLK en la Universidad de Texas cerca de la calle 21 y Speedway. Habr谩 un programa corto y anuncios frente a la estatua antes de continuar a los escalones al sur del Capitolio del Estado de Texas.
