The Ladies of Distinction Honoring Day at the Capitol
The Ladies of Distinction were honored by the African American Heritage Committee on Jan. 20 at the state Capitol for their volunteer services in their community. This was an amazing honor that showed a true representation of how positive things do occur鈥
Instructional Materials Adoption
As per the Education Code, 鈥渋nstructional materials selected for use in public schools shall be furnished without cost to students attending those schools鈥. Each school district is entitled to an annual allotment from the state instructional materials鈥
